Trying to get back on track
Being a month behind my planned schedule and finally being able to collect data
--
I wasn't able to start any collection of data or contacting participants until March as there were some unexpected issues with my MORE form. So, for the past week it's been crazy trying to reach out to people as well as scheduling interview sessions that are suitable for the different timezones across the world.
Especially now that I am back in Singapore and I am also looking at going for classes to get back in shape, I guess time management is something that I will need to really practice and also do well in. Not only have I got to balance between getting back in shape and the BAPP course, I have got a 3rd element called time differences that I have to manage.
It's been a month and a bit into the module and since I have returned to Singapore, I am really guilty of not being able to attend any Skype discussion calls. However, to make up for that, I have been consistently visiting the blogs of my peers to stay updated to what has been discussed during the session. Hopefully I will be able to attend one of the sessions soon!
I wonder how are everyone getting with their inquiry, Theresa x

Hi Theresa,
ReplyDeleteIt must be difficult with the time differences! Like you mentioned, looking at the blogs is really helpful to catch up on zoom calls. I hope you are feeling better about your research now the MORE form is sorted. When I was waiting for mine, I started looking at lots of literature around my topic of inquiry. I hope this helps :)

Hi Alys,
DeleteNow that I am able to get going with my data collection, I definitely feel better in the sense of being able to get started. I agree, I'm glad that I made use of the time while I waited for my MORE form to look for literature. I look forward to hearing more about your inquiry. Theresa x
